At the Stavaru Soccer Academy, we develop all of our players so they can execute excellent ball control and tactical abilities in game situations. We are able to accomplish this by focusing long term on each player's individual soccer skill development, based on the academy’s philosophy of discipline, structure and individual skill development. Our programs start at the Under 8 age bracket and continue all the way to age 18 when our players are ready for college level soccer. Founded by Cip Stavaru, a well known and respected soccer coach who went through formal academy style soccer training in European club leagues. Cip (pronounced "Chip") has trained many players and teams in the Naperville Area.
Age 7-12 Naperville Soccer Academy Program – (Technical Skill Development Training)
Players from age 7 until age of 12 begin with strict technical skill development. These players learn to handle the ball, in the air and on the ground, with different parts of the body (head, chest, thigh, and foot) and with different parts of the foot (inside, outside, bottom). Mastering these technical skills are as essential to soccer as learning the alphabet is to reading.
Age 12-15 Naperville Soccer Academy Program – (Tactical Skill Developmenl Training)
Between ages 12 and 15 the emphasis is on technical development and the introduction to the tactical game, which is the ability of the player to execute movement on the field, with and without the ball, according to game situation.
Age 15-18 Naperville Soccer Academy Program – (College, Semi-Pro and Pro Level Tactical Training)
From ages 15 till 18 the emphasis will be based on the tactical development of the player, which will help the players to accommodate to the modern game, played at the college, semi-pro, and professional level.
The difference of an academy is that focus is based on the individual soccer player, and the long-term development of his/her individual skills and not on the team and the achievement each season.
Our mission is to create the best Naperville soccer club academy style training experience.
